Liquid nitrogen ice cream – the 32nd flavor?

I subscribe to the Google Open Source Blog and was a little surprised to see a video of my uncle at Google’s fourth annual Science Foo Camp making ice cream… Using liquid nitrogen.

If Baskin Robbins won’t take it on as their 32nd flavor, maybe he could sell the idea to Ben & Jerry’s under a funny name. Because liquid nitrogen always makes me think of that scene in Terminator 2, I’m thinking you just add some chocolate to this recipe and call it “Fudgement Day.”
